We strive to deliver a curriculum that develops children into responsible users of Computing, with the skills to use it independently and apply computing skills to all subjects.
The core of computing is computer science. In this children are taught the principles of information and computation, how digital systems work and how to put this knowledge to use through programming. Children will be taught to become digitally literate and able to express their ideas through information and communication technology. Children will apply the fundamental principles of computer science including abstraction, logic, algorithms and data representation. They will use their practical experiences to help solve problems in particular when writing their own computer programmes. Children will become responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.
